AMCO SA undertook a significant part at the implementation of the project “Supply and installation of equipment for the Municipality of Orestiada in the framework of the operation entitled: Open Trade Center of the Municipality of Orestiada”.

With the utilization of the project, the City expands its cooperation with the Company and joins the network of over 100 municipalities nationwide, which have trusted AMCO SA for the development of their Smart City infrastractures.

More specifically, the project includes:

• 38 specially built electric bicycles for shared use within the urban fabric

• 38 bike docks

• 2 Infokiosks

• Mobile Application for iOS and Android mobile phones

In addition to the equipment, AMCO will supply the Bike Rental Software.

The commuters will be able to rent a bicycle through the infokiosks that will be installed at each station, or with the use of the mobile application.

With the installation of AMCO’s equipment in the Open Mall of the Municipality of Orestiada, the “smart” infrastructure of the Municipality will be strengthened, upgrading the shopping center of the city, making citizens’ access to it easier, faster and safer.
