AMCO undertook the implementation of a new electric utility system in the Municipality of Eastern Samos.

The purpose of the project is the continuous improvement and upgrade of mobility within the local fabric, as well as the strengthening of micro-mobility within the Municipality, reducing the use of vehicles for short distances and decongesting the road network.

The project includes 70 purpose-built bikes for urban traffic, 72 electronic shared bike lockers, as well as the central management software. Users will be able to rent a bike, using their smart cards or their mobile phone, via the bike sharing application.

This system come to complete and upgrade the “green” infrastructures of the Municipality of Eastern Samos, making users’ movements safer, faster and more sustainable.
