AMCO SA undertook the project entitled “Supply of bike sharing system in the Municipality of Chania”.

The project includes 4 automatic bike rental stations, 70 specially designed bikes for movement in the urban environment, 4 automatic pay stations with credit card reader and the back office software and user interface.

The system is fully automated and allows the bike rental either by using personal code or by using a credit card.

The installation is expected to contribute to the improvement of the natural environment, to stimulate commercial activity, to reduce traffic and to improve the quality of life.
