A new project for the supply and installation of an automatic fare collection system was recently awarded to AMCO S.A. by Lakonia Inter-Urban Bus Company.

The new system will be installed in 96 buses and will consist of:
• MT-301 on-board computer with ticket printer and smart card reader with the appropriate software for ticket issuing and validation in the buses.
• Central ticketing software for management and monitoring of the whole system.

The system will offer a variety of payment alternatives to passengers while providing fast and secure transactions.

Also will ensure ticket control and minimum revenue loss with full financial transparency for the customer, combined with powerful reports in order to help making strategic decisions.
