The manufacturing, supply and installation of 15 automatic ticket vending machines for Athens TRAM stations was recently awarded to AMCO.

The new machines will be installed at the new TRAM stations to Piraeus and will provide the following functionality:

• Issuing of new smart cards
• Reloading of existing smart cards
• Payment via coins, banknotes and EMV credit/debit cards

Also, AMCO will implement the local software application as well as the integration with OASA new AFC back-office software.
