The Municipality of Thira has assigned to AMCO the project for Transit Management and real time Passenger Information system for its bus lines.

The scope of this initiative is to develop and operate an intelligent telematics platform that will enable the municipality to monitor and modify remotely its public transportation and provide its passengers with up to date trip related information.

Within the frame of the project, AMCO shall proceed with the necessary technical specifications analysis and subsequent provision and installation of a transit management system, as well as user training, pilot operation and support services.

The solution will encompass a complete control center that consolidates information from bus drivers’ consoles and embedded intelligent insights in order to present passengers with live announcements at smart bus stops displays and associated system applications (mobile app, SMS, Web).
