The “Vehicle Traffic Management System” of the Municipality of Rhodes, implemented by AMCO, has been put into full operation.

At selected traffic junctions, smart controllers and new LED traffic lights connected to a remote monitoring center were installed, while radar units measure vehicle traffic.

Drivers are updated in real time on traffic conditions and travel times via electronic LED signs, a website, and a mobile application.

Queues and environmental impact are reduced, making roads safer for vehicles and pedestrians.
